NO. ABSOLUTELY NOT.

We don't have servers to store your data on. Your subscription information lives in an SQLite database on your device. We literally cannot access it, even if we wanted to.

The only third-party services we use are:

• Firebase Analytics: Anonymized crash reports and usage statistics (no personal data)
• RevenueCat: Handles in-app purchases (they know you bought Pro, not what subscriptions you track)
• Exchange Rate API: Fetches currency conversion rates (no personal data sent)
• Google Drive/iCloud: Only if you enable Cloud Sync - and even then, files are stored in YOUR account, not ours

By default, all your data is stored locally on your device in an SQLite database. This means:

• Your subscriptions, amounts, and notes are on your phone
• No internet connection required to view or edit
• We cannot access your data remotely
• If you delete the app without backup, data is lost (we can't recover it)

Pro users can optionally sync to their own Google Drive (Android) or iCloud (iOS). These files are encrypted and stored in YOUR personal cloud storage account, not ours.

App Lock (Pro feature) protects your financial data with multiple options:

• Biometric: Uses FaceID/TouchID (iOS) or fingerprint/face unlock (Android)
• PIN: 4-6 digit PIN protection
• Pattern: 9-dot pattern lock (connect at least 4 dots)

When enabled, Subskuy requires authentication every time you open the app. Your biometric data never leaves your device - it's handled entirely by your phone's secure enclave.

If you lose your phone and you don't have Cloud Sync enabled, your data is lost. We cannot recover it because we never had access to it.

If you have Cloud Sync enabled (Pro feature):

1. Install Subskuy on your new device
2. Enable Cloud Sync and sign in to the same Google Drive/iCloud account
3. Your data will automatically restore from your cloud backup

The 50/30/20 rule is a proven budgeting strategy that divides your income into three categories:

• 50% Needs: Essential expenses (rent, groceries, utilities, insurance)
• 30% Wants: Non-essential spending (entertainment, dining out, hobbies)
• 20% Savings/Debt: Savings, investments, and debt repayment

Subskuy automatically categorizes your expenses and shows visual progress bars so you can see how you're tracking against each category. Pro users can customize the ratios.

The Liquidity Gauge answers the most important question in personal finance: "Can I afford this?"

It shows:

• Total Balance: All money across your accounts
• Committed Funds: Upcoming bills and subscriptions
• Safe-to-Spend: What's actually available after all commitments

Subskuy supports three types of subscriptions:

• Recurring Subscriptions: Standard monthly/yearly services (Netflix, Spotify, etc.) with fixed amounts
• Installments: Buy Now Pay Later plans and fixed-term payments (Klarna, phone financing, etc.)
• Recurring Bills: Variable-amount bills (utilities, credit card minimums, etc.)

Each type has specific features tailored to how you pay. For example, installments show remaining payments and completion date.

Subskuy supports multiple account types to give you a complete picture of your finances:

• Bank: Savings or checking accounts (positive balance)
• Cash: Physical cash on hand (positive balance)
• Credit Card: Credit accounts (shows outstanding debt)
• E-Wallet: Digital wallets like GoPay, OVO, PayPal (positive balance)

Link expenses and income to specific accounts to track exactly where your money comes from and goes.

Subskuy supports 150+ currencies with automatic exchange rate conversion:

• Set your default currency in Settings
• Add subscriptions and transactions in any currency
• Exchange rates are automatically fetched when the app opens
• All amounts are converted to your default currency for totals and analysis
• Individual items still show their original currency

This is perfect if you have subscriptions in different countries or currencies.

Keep track of money you owe and money owed to you:

• Debts: Money you owe to others (loans from friends, informal borrowing)
• Receivables: Money others owe you (lent money to friends, split bills)

Record partial payments as they happen, and the app automatically tracks remaining balances. Never forget to pay back or collect payments again!

Cloud Sync (Pro feature) backs up your data to your personal cloud storage:

• Android: Syncs to YOUR Google Drive account
• iOS: Syncs to YOUR iCloud account

Important points:

• Files are encrypted and stored in YOUR account, not ours
• We cannot see or access your cloud files
• Sync happens automatically in the background
• Choose backup frequency: Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Manual
• Restore data on a new device by signing in to the same account

• Customizable timing: Get reminded 1-7 days before payment due
• Choose notification time: Pick the hour that works for you
• Quick actions (Android): Mark as paid directly from notification

Yes! Pro users can export all data to CSV format:

• Go to Settings → Export → "Export to CSV"
• Save the file to your device or cloud storage
• Open in Excel, Google Sheets, or any spreadsheet app
• Includes: subscriptions, payment schedules, transactions, categories, accounts

Subskuy Pro is available as a subscription with two options:

Pricing may vary by region. You can see exact pricing in the app when you tap "Go Pro" or in the Settings → Pro section.

You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time:

• iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Subskuy → Cancel
• Android: Google Play Store → Subscriptions → Subskuy → Cancel

Your Pro features will remain active until the end of your current billing period. After that, you'll revert to the free tier limits. Your data is never deleted - you just lose access to Pro features.

Your data is safe! Canceling Pro does NOT delete your data:

• All your subscriptions, accounts, and transactions remain in the app
• If you have more than 7 subscriptions, you'll need to delete some to add new ones
• If you have more than 3 accounts, you'll need to delete some to add new ones
• Cloud Sync backups remain in your Drive/iCloud (you just can't sync new changes)
• You can re-subscribe anytime to regain Pro features

We never delete your data when you cancel. It's yours, always.

Refund policies are handled by Apple (iOS) and Google (Android):

• iOS: Contact Apple Support or request a refund through reportaproblem.apple.com
• Android: Contact Google Play Support or request a refund through play.google.com/store/account

Generally, refunds are available within a certain time period (usually 48 hours to 2 weeks) after purchase, depending on your region's policies.

Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) allows us to share business logic, data models, and core features between Android and iOS while maintaining native UI:

Yes! Subskuy works completely offline:

• View all your subscriptions, accounts, and transactions
• Add, edit, or delete any data
• View analytics and spending totals
• Set up payment reminders

Internet is only needed for:

• Currency exchange rate updates
• Cloud Sync (if enabled)
• App updates

Android:

• Android 7.0 (API 24) or higher
• At least 50MB of storage space
• Internet connection (optional, for sync and exchange rates)

iOS:

• iOS 13.0 or higher
• At least 50MB of storage space
• Internet connection (optional, for sync and exchange rates)

If Subskuy crashes, try these steps:

1. Force close the app and reopen it
2. Restart your device
3. Update to the latest version from the App Store/Play Store
4. Check if you have enough storage space
5. If cloud sync is enabled, try disabling and re-enabling it

Updates are handled through your device's app store:

• iOS: App Store → Updates → Find Subskuy → Update
